Path to the Preserve
While the Preserve is primarily for the sanctuary of nature and wildlife, we do provide a few pathways for people to come experience the beauty and wonder. The areas of the preserve available to humans is limited, but will open up more as the preserve is cleaned and trails are developed. We are excited to have you be part of this beautiful journey and to share in the love of nature.
Please respect that this is private property and you are not permitted on the land unless through one of the pathways we provide below. You will be required to sign a waiver and provide other information as necessary. Failure to respect this will result in trespass and could result in fees.
Volunteer Work Parties
The best way to visit the preserve is to come volunteer at one of our work parties. You will spend your time helping to clear out invasive species, remove trash, remove fallen trees, repair habitat, forest permaculture, nesting, building trails, clearing trails, and bond with the land as you love it with your time. You will be required to work 4 hours caring for the land and then after your work session you will be permitted 2 hours to enjoy the parts of the preserve that have been opened up for human passage.
Volunteer days are on Sunday from 8am to 12pm (you need to be present the whole 4 hours) and your 2 hours is from 12pm to 2pm that same day. Please contact the owner to find out if a volunteer day is happening and to get put on the list of volunteers. Do not just show up, you will be turned away and could possibly be trespassed.
To Volunteer you will need to provide the following 3 items in advance of the day you are volunteering. You will need to send via email (info@fallcreekpreserve.love)
Private Events
On occasion, we will be hosting private events within the Fall Creek Park area to raise money and awareness towards the care of nature. During those events, there may be some limited access to parts of the preserve. The private events will be primarily held on the 2 acres dedicated as Fall Creek Park, which is specifically a human designated area.
